Hey!
Welcome to Rizzo Fitness
Does the idea of shopping for new jeans sound less appealing than going to the dentist!?
How long has it been since you felt comfortable in your bikini on vacation?
Are you the girl who hides in the back row when your friends are taking a girls night out picture?
I know those feelings all too well, standing in the mirror trying to find what angle makes your waist look the thinnest! It’s time to STOP counting calories and forcing yourself not to eat when your hungry. That is not how your going to make changes to your body, I promise, I tried it for years.
Hi, my name is Elizabeth Rizzo-Washburn I am a certified personal trainer, Life and Weight Management Coach and above all else a fitness enthusiast.
I work with women who hate their bodies! There’s no other way to say it. When every decision you make, everything you do is coated with fear of gaining weight and fear of being judged. Putting on clothes becomes a nightmare because nothing fits or makes you feel good. You even avoid social situations cause your so unhappy with body. This is no way to live!
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago competing as a high level gymnast. My gymnastics ended up taking me to the University of Utah where I was a member of their gymnastics team for 5 years. Now I am living in Europe… long story but I live in a different country every year while my husband plays professional basketball.
At the age of 14 I started down the unhealthy path of body shaming, horrible self image and disordered eating. I would wear huge sweatpants to school because I felt as if everyone was seeing the flaws that I saw every time I looked in the mirror.
When I got to college I worked out and chose what to eat out of fear of gaining weight. Every decision I made was because I hated my body. Even as a college athlete my motivation was always body image. All too often I would look in the mirror and hate what I saw, I couldn’t understand why all my cardio and dieting wasn’t making a difference. Because of my lack of success I would give in and go grab some ice cream and those single serve microwaveable brownies… yum. Naturally this made me feel worse and the next day I would spend twice as long on the spin bike. Literally spinning my wheels and getting nowhere.
After I was done with college athletics I became a certified personal trainer and started working at a public gym. Soon after starting I realized that the gym I worked for cared more about their bottom line than the goals of their customers.
A year later I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and start training on my own. Now due to my world travels I have had the pleasure of working with people in many countries through one to one online training and my new fitness guides.

My passion is helping women who have struggled with loving their body just like me!
My goal is to give my clients the freedom of confidence. Through challenging their bodies physically they are able to achieve Bare Confidence.
What is Bare Confidence?
When you strip away the expensive clothes, the stylish haircut, the dream career and all of your relationships, when all you have is you.
YOU are confident! You make choices based off of your goals and dreams not from fear and insecurity. Bare Confidence is being comfortable when you are completely exposed.
Noelle says
“I can honestly say that Beth has changed my life. Before she started training me I was almost 300lbs at the ripe old age of 15. Hard to believe. I had no self-confidence and very little motivation for life in general. I thought my new trainer would judge me, but when I met Beth, she made me feel so comfortable. The work was hard, physically and emotionally, but she never let me quit. Over the next few years she has become so much more than just a trainer, she has become the most amazing friend I’ve ever had. She is one of the most kind, loving, and strong willed (trust me, I should know) people on earth.”
